Happy Independence Day…
But, then again, are we really that independent? Would the Founding Fathers look at us and be proud, or would they bow their heads in sorrow at what our nation has become?
Most of the citizens of the United States are now like the victims of an abusive relationship. People try frantically to avoid breaking laws because they don’t want to be penalized. They sacrifice their own well-being and happiness in order to avoid getting into trouble. I know that I personally get a little burst of adrenaline and say, “Oh crap!” every time a police car happens to be behind me, and I drive a little more carefully, signal a little bit sooner, and make certain my full stop lasts for a count of 5 Mississippis. Our right to defend ourselves with firearms is at risk, you can’t grow vegetables in your front yard in many places, and in some states, you aren’t even allowed to collect the gift of rain to water your garden in dry times. The vast quantity of ever-multiplying statutes are so plentiful even the most law-abiding citizen cannot get through a day without unwittingly breaking one.
If the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood; if they be repealed or revised before they are promulgated, or undergo such incessant changes that no man, who knows what the law is to-day, can guess what it will be to-morrow. Law is defined to be a rule of action; but how can that be a rule, which is little known, and less fixed?

This morning when I was doing my usual rounds of blogs and news, I stopped over at the Mom with a Prep blog, where Jane had published the transcript of the Declaration of Independence as a reminder of why we are celebrating today. The words seemed even more meaningful, considering our current administration, the unjust taxes being forced upon us through Obamacare, and the militarized police force in pretty much every city in America. This section in particular spoke to me:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. Our government has crossed the line and become tyrannical. Through insidious acts of terror inflicted upon their own people, they’ve enacted terrifying, sweeping legislations that give them almost unlimited power…the NDAA (indefinite detention) and the ironically named “Patriot Act”, to name two. Law enforcement is just a gang with badges, serving the government and not the people.
The “authorities” are running amok, blowing up babies in their cribs and killing homeless people and family pets because they know they’ll get away with it. They are nothing but revenue generators, looking for the smallest infraction for which to fine you.
We can’t afford to help the hundreds of thousands of Americans in Detroit who have lost their running water, but we can invite hundreds of thousands of immigrants to just walk on in, and we can afford to house them, feed them, give them medical care, and transport them throughout our country.
And it isn’t just enormous things like Obamacare, immigration, gun control, and indefinite detention.
It’s every day things that allow us to be self-sufficient and independent from “the system” that are becoming outlawed. What on earth has our nation come to, when growing your own food is an act of revolution? When being armed in order to defend yourself and your family is considered some kind of subversive act? When the public schools, which used to teach useful things like Home Economics and Auto Shop, and used to have extracurricular sports like marksmanship, now suspend children for pointing their fingers and saying “bang”? When collecting a bounty of rainwater for dry times is against the law?
How is it acceptable that the government can attempt to force people to inject toxins (in the form of mandatory vaccines) into our bodies and our children’s bodies? How is it acceptable that they can attempt to force us to send our children to approved schools to learn approved curriculums? That they force us to pay each year in order to drive our cars and live in our paid-for homes?
I’m pretty sure this is what our forefathers meant when they said “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
The 13th Amendment to the Constitution abolished slavery. This means that if you are a slave today, it’s either illegal, or you have voluntarily accepted your servitude.
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
You have a Constitutionally protected right to be free. If you aren’t free, then revolution is your duty. Part of the power that the government holds over people is the fact that they have stuff we need. So, the key to independence is not to need the stuff they have. When there is nothing that you require enough to submit, then bullying you becomes much more difficult. Here are some examples:
- If you reduce your consumeristic habits and lower your cost of living, you need less money.
- If you grow your own food, you will never be dependent on the government to help you to afford to buy food.
- If you don’t send your kids to school, and instead educate them at home, then you don’t need to get them vaccinated so they can attend school.
- If you don’t make much money, you don’t pay much in the way of taxes.
- If you are self-employed, you can’t be threatened with the loss of your job for non-compliance with *pick a ridiculous law*
- If you shop locally, from farms and craftsmen, you don’t need the big box stores.
- If you have the ability and equipment to defend yourself, you don’t need to call 911.
This isn’t about guns blazing, militias mobilizing, and guerrilla warfare. It’s about small personal acts of independence.
The way you lead your life every single day can be a personal Declaration of Independence. By refusing to concede your natural rights, quietly and resolutely, you are performing an act of revolution. This only requires your consistent determination not to be infringed upon.
Personally, I withdraw my consent to be governed by the people in Washington DC that allegedly represent me. Because they don’t. They do no mirror my wishes and beliefs. They do not support my pursuit of personal freedom.
The most revolutionary act is to be self-sufficient and in need of nothing that the government can provide for you in exchange for some small liberty. This list of insurrections is by no means comprehensive.
- Question absolutely everything you hear on the news.Always be a skeptic. All major media goes back to just a few conglomerates The “news” is now all a propaganda ploy to help the rich get richer and the powerful remain in power. The media can make or break a candidate with unholy zeal in less than a week. These people and others like them are the ones that decide what “we the people” get to see. If they feel like a candidate or a news item might upset the status quo, they black it out by refusing to cover it.
- Call out the media. Let everyone know that the mainstream media is the enemy of the people. When you see coverage that is clearly biased, take a moment to call out the media about it. Take the time to comment on mainstream media websites and point out the unbalanced coverage. If you use social media, share this information and post on the media outlet’s social media pages as well.
- Get out of the banking system. By opting to “unbank” or “underbank” there is a limit to what can be easily stolen from you. When you have physical control of your financial assets, you are not at as high a risk of losing those assets, and therefore, less likely to be dependent on “the system.”
- Turn your savings into precious metals or tangible assets. On the same note as unbanking, you definitely don’t want to rely on a 401K or savings account to provide for you in your old age. Ask the people of Cyprus how well that worked out for them. Diversify with assets you can touch. Purchase tangible goods like food, land, ammo, and seeds. Once you are well supplied, move on to precious metals to preserve your wealth.
- Educate others. At the (very high) risk of people thinking you’re crazy, it’s important to let people know WHY you do what you do. If you are an anti-Monsanto activist, teach others about the dangers of GMOs. If you object to a municipal policy, speak at a town meeting or send a letter to the editor of your local paper. By ranting incoherently or by keeping your mouth shut, you influence no one. By providing provable facts, you can open minds and awaken others to tyranny.
- Get others involved in the fight. For example, if you are fighting with the city council that wants to rip out the vegetables growing in your front yard, let your friends and neighbors know, post a notice at the grocery store, and write a letter to the editor. When injustice occurs, use the power of social media to spread awareness. Often a public outcry is what is necessary to get the “authorities” to back down. Look at the case of Brandon Raub, the veteran who was kidnapped and taken to a mental hospital for things he posted on Facebook. Raub was not charged, but he was detained in the psych ward involuntarily. His friends and family immediately mobilized and spread the videos of his arrest all over the internet. It snowballed and alternative media picked it up – soon Raub was released, and all because of a grass roots and social media campaign to bring the injustice to light.
- Grow your own food. Every single seed that you plant is a revolutionary act. Every bit of food that you don’t have to purchase from the grocery store is a battle cry for your personal independence. When you educate yourself (and others) about Big Food, Big Agri, and the food safety sell-outs at the FDA, you will clearly see that we are alone in our fight for healthy, nutritious foods. Refuse to tolerate these attacks on our health and our lifestyles. Refuse to be held subject to Agenda 21′s version of “sustainability”.
- Take control of your health. It is imperative that you not blindly trust in the medical establishment. Many members of this establishment are merely prostitutes for their pimp, Big Pharma. Millions of children are given powerful psychotropic drugs to help them fit into the neat little classroom boxes, and the numbers are growing every day. Americans spent 34.2 BILLION dollars on psychiatric drugs in 2010. (Source) Big Pharma is an enormously profitable industry that only pays off if they can convince you that you’re sick. Learn about the toxic injections and medications, weight the risks and benefits, and always look for second and third opinions before making a medical decision. Maintain your health by avoiding toxins, exercising, and ditching your bad habits to reduce the number of doctor’s visits that are necessary.
- Refuse to comply. If you know your natural rights, which are guaranteed under the Constitution and its Amendments, then it makes it much harder for “authorities” to bully you. You don’t have to let them search your home without a warrant, you don’t have to answer questions, and you don’t have to comply with laws that are in conflict with the Constitution.
- Don’t overlook the little things. Governments like to chip away at rights a tiny bit at a time, until one day you wake up and realize that all of those little things add up to a really big deal. Today, the bulk purchase of ammo might limited. Tomorrow, you might not be able to buy it at all. Today, home births might be subject to a set of rules. Tomorrow, those rules might be expanded to the point that the birth of your child is totally legislated.
- Learn. Every day, spend time learning. This shouldn’t stop once our formal education ends. Fill your mind with history, with current events, with constitutional law, and information about the natural world. Learn about health, study economics, research things that interest you, and unravel the complicated conspiracies that are afoot. To pursue unbiased knowledge is to free your mind from the prison of propaganda and indoctrination.
- Don’t consume chemicals that cause you to be dumbed down. Avoid chemical-laden food with brain-killing neurotoxins like MSG and aspartame. Don’t drink fluoridated water.
- Embrace your right to bear arms. Be responsible for your own safety and security.
- Don’t be in debt. No one can be free if they are in debt. If you are in debt, you are forced to work in whatever conditions are present, for whatever amount is offered, complying with whatever criteria is necessary to keep your job. in order to either pay your debt or face penalties. As well, the high interest rates that you pay only serve to make the bankers more wealthy. Instead of borrowing, save until you can afford something or realize that if you could actually afford it, you wouldn’t need to borrow money to have it.
- Be prepared for disaster. Have enough food, water, and supplies to take care of your family in the event of a natural disaster. Don’t expect FEMA to take care of you.
- Be involved in your children’s education. For some, this means homeschooling or unschooling, and for others this means being on top of what they are learning in a formal school setting. Join the PTA and actively volunteer if your child goes to school. Be an advocate for your child and insist that the teachers teach. If your child goes to school, supplement this at home with discourse about current events and outings that help them learn about the world around them.
- Be the squeaky wheel. If you see something wrong, don’t just ignore it. Say something about it, and keep saying something until it changes. Whether this is some process that infringes on your privacy, a job requirement that impedes your health, or another injustice, pursue it relentlessly. Ask questions publically, write letters, and use social media to bring pressure to encourage a change.
- Reduce your consumer spending. Spending less helps to starve the beast by reducing the sales taxes you pay and withdrawing your financial support to big conglomerates. If we vote with our dollars, eventually there will, of a necessity, be a paradigm shift that returns us to simpler days, when families that were willing to work hard could make a living without selling their souls to the corporate monoliths. A low-consumption lifestyle reduces your financial dependency, which allows for more freedom.
- Ditch popular culture. If reality TV isn’t a tool for dumbing people down, I don’t know what it is. My daughter recently begged to watch an episode of a popular reality TV show that “everyone” was watching. She managed about 15 minutes of it and then said, “This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.” She decided to read a book instead. Popular entertainment is a media tool used to change our perspectives about our personal values, and to tell us how to think and feel about issues.
- Buy locally. Support local small businesses to help others who are fighting for independence from the system. You might pay a little bit more than you would at your big box store, but the only people benefiting from your purchases made at the corporate stores are those with the 7 figure annual bonuses.
- Develop multiple streams of income. Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. Figure out several ways to bring in income. Not only does this free you from being a wage slave, but it allows you to hire friends or family members. You are less entangled in the system and not subject to corporate whims. If one business fails, or becomes subject to regulations that make it no longer worthwhile, you are not forced to comply just to keep a roof over your head. (Learn more HERE)
- Say thanks, but no thanks. There is no such thing as a benevolent hand out. Nearly anything offered for free (particularly by a government entity) has strings attached. Maybe there is a handy-dandy registration form that you need to fill out. You might be influenced to vote a certain way just to keep the freebies coming. You might have to pee in a cup every two weeks. Perhaps one day you’ll need to have a microchip embedded in your hand. Either way, by accepting handouts from those in “authority”, you become beholden to them or you need them, and someone who is free is neither beholden nor needy.
- Collect water. Either harvest it with rain barrels, store it in a cistern, or create a source for it on your property (digging a well, for example.) Water is life.
- Don’t take the easy road. The PTB like to seduce people with simplicity. “If you just sign this paper, it will be much easier,” they say. “This chip is for your convenience,” they tell you. “By giving up this, it lets us take care of you and you will be much safer.” The easy road only gets you to Slave Street a whole lot faster. Take the difficult road and be responsible for yourself. Don’t take shortcuts that compromise your beliefs. Go to court to fight a ticket, read the laws and defend yourself.
- Know that anything you give up, you will never get back.
Today, to celebrate Independence Day, I’m taking another small step to free myself from their system. . I’m revolting by beginning construction on a chicken coop. I’m declaring my own independence by making my small town home as self-sufficient as possible.

I did not advocate a disappearing act at all. I advocate withdrawing one’s participation in a corrupt system. This is open to individual interpretation and everyone may withdraw to the extent they wish.
If millions of us refused to participate, the system would fall. I absolutely did not suggest hiding. As opposed to disappearing, let me quote myself here, since you may have missed this:

The recession has withheld a great deal of money from circulating (back to its “owners.”) Their solution was to simply print more (counterfeit) money.

Daisy has NEVER advocated hiding or becoming invisible. She gave many excellent ideas to become more self sufficient and live a healthy off-grid lifestyle.
Instead of becoming invisible, Daisy encourages us to BECOME INFORMED, EDUCATE OTHERS, SPEAK UP, SHARE INFORMATION, BE INVOLVED IN YOUR CHILD’S EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY, AND TRY TO GET OTHERS INVOLVED.

Regarding vaccines – have you ever seen a person with acute paralytic polio? As an intern, working at War Memorial Children’s Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada in 1978, I saw the last three patients with paralytic polio in the Americas. One of them had his breathing muscles paralyzed, and would have to be on a ventilator for the rest of his life (iron lungs are old technology).
They were all members of the Dutch Reformed Church, which was anti-vaccine.
As a doctor, I do think we have gone overboard with vaccines – for example – do we really need a chickenpox vaccine? Chickenpox is a pretty benign illness. On the other hand, I have seen diptheria, red measles, German measles, whooping cough, and a 16 month old baby girl die from hemophilus influenzae meningitis, for which there is now a very effective vaccine.
Tetanus bacteria are in the soil everywhere. In third world countries, people die by the score of tetanus every year. Are you really against people getting a tetanus shot when they get a dirty wound? Tetanus is a slow, horrible way to die.

Think about that. Why would anyone get a vaccination for something which is no longer around? Not too mention; how many people say that polio was already on the way out with improvements in things such as sewage systems and better drinking water supplies. What a great post for July 4.
I think more Americans are realizing that they cannot and should not look to the State to protect their freedom. The State (and its military forces) exist to protect the sovereignty of the country; national security is the concern of the state, not Liberty. The state isn’t concerned with your freedom.
Most Americans probably agree with that. Most Americans probably accept that. The problem is that the Department of Homeland Security does NOT accept that. Nor does the CIA, or the NSA.
Will Americans actually feel safer with Predator drones flying over their backyards? Will they still feel like they live in America when the State monitors their every financial transaction and every electronic communication?
More noble? Proud? Brave? Free? Safe?
Freedom, once relinquished, even in a time of national crisis, is never restored without a struggle.
Daisy, you NAILED it 100% on this one! This is like a manifesto of how to live in the modern world! Having figured these things out when I was still a kid in the 70’s, and living my life by them ever since, I can tell you that they WORK! Self-suffic9ency means that you can not be manipulated to be someone else’s slave. Your work benefits you and your family, and you get 100% of the benefit, instead of earning a profit for someone else, and just getting paid a fraction of what you earn. Eliminating taxes, licenses, interest and fees from your life means you can live like a king while living at what “they” call “the poverty level”. I hate seeing all the tyranny around me these days, but it’s amazing how free one can still live by using a little discretion, and bucking the system. It’s also a great feeling knowing that my efforts are not funding/supporting that system.Give up TV, radio and cell phones, and you can take your life back, as the rest of society turns into zombies. We will be the kings of the world that is emerging, once the system collapses under it’s own dysfunction.

Surely it must be obvious by now that any attempt to prevent people from crossing the border is doomed to failure, even as it provides an excuse for Big Brother to stick his nose ever deeper into our lives. As for taxpayer funded payouts, the solution is to end them, not to pull out bigger government guns to figure out whether those receiving them are “entitled”.
Yea right. Do away with them after big bro forcefully took a (large) portion of my paycheck every week for forty years. I paid for it and I want it. Unlike the illegal aliens, I worked for a disability I have been waiting months to receive although I can no longer stand much less work. You ever tried cutting firewood or working a garden or anything else while wearing oxygen and near passing out after standing up. Put a plastic bag over your head and tie it tightly at the neck. Then let the government take your check for your whole life. Top that off with some wet behind the ears nobody saying they should do away with something you paid for. See how that works out for ya.
It appears to me that we have a paternalistic government, and the people of this country argue, and fight over government handouts like siblings. People with this mindset don’t even want to be free, they just want your ice cream.

If you read PART 5 of Judge Dales “THE GREAT AMERICAN ADVENTURE” he details how to cancel local citation/complaints made or issued by a local Corporate City, Municipal, Township or Borough Authority.
People can in fact do anything they want (ie) place a garden in their front yards; collect rain water, etc.
When the local corporate authority issues them a citation or summons for violating one of their local ordinances, all they need to do is write across the document: I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS OFFER TO CONTRACT AND I DO NOT CONSENT TO THESE PROCEEDINGS. Bee-Killing Pesticides in 51% of “Bee-Friendly” Plants from Garden Centers Across U.S. and Canada
Washington, D.C. –Many “bee-friendly” home garden plants sold at Home Depot (NYSE: HD), Lowe’s (NYSE: LOW) and Walmart (NYSE: WMT) have been pre-treated with pesticides shown to harm and kill bees, according to a study released today by Friends of the Earth and allies.
The study, Gardeners Beware 2014, shows that 36 out of 71 (51 percent) of garden plant samples purchased at top garden retailers in 18 cities in the United States and Canada contain neonicotinoid (neonic) pesticides — a key contributor to recent bee declines. Some of the flowers contained neonic levels high enough to kill bees outright assuming comparable concentrations are present in the flowers’ pollen and nectar. Further, 40 percent of the positive samples contained two or more neonics.

Parents should be active in their children’s education. Unfortunately, at least in my experience as a public school teacher who taught for more years than I would have liked, “getting involved” in the public school did not mean that the parent made any real changes. In fact, most of them became shills for the sick broken system. Those who didn’t, usually removed their kids. We do not have an education system. We have an indoctrination system. It is sick and broken.
“Be an advocate for your child and insist that the teachers teach.” I could write volumes on this. I am no advocate of public school, but I never came across a totally incompetent public school teacher. Some were better than others, but a wide variety of teaching styles in any educational institution is to be expected. In my school district, our teaching methods, plans, grades, parent contact, and class control, were dictated and monitored. The principles intermittently walked the halls while class was in session. So did Administrators upon occasion.

Wonderful article. I wish everybody would pick a few of these items and do it. Just do it…. I for one am tired of all the hormones in our food system. GMO’s may be responsible for growing more food, better looking food but the nutrient value has been stripped out of it. If the system (energy, transportation or banking)should falter there will be a lot of people begging for handouts due to the lack of knowledge and preparation.

I enjoyed the article, and have mixed feeling about it. My family and I have been trying very hard to live exactly like your article states for the past two years. We are trying hard to go “Galt.” As we are sick of the corruption, lies and usurpation at all levels of Government. We live below our means, we are gardening and growing as much food as possible, it’s not easy, as a matter of fact it is hard work. No debt except for our land, no credit cards, cash is king. I am self employed, no boss, no corporate America to answer to. HOWEVER…… No matter how hard we try we are still a part of this corrupt system. There is really NO escaping the system the elite have created, only reducing the size of our foot print and related tax burden. Banking, income taxes, government fees, tags, licenses, insurance, red tape etc., It is unavoidable on so many levels. We can never really be free from this corrupt system of Involuntary Servitude. While your article is encouraging and beneficial, there is no escape and the Elite pulling the strings know it. The main point here in my opinion is PREPARE and become as independent as possible.

I agree with Prepper Engineer, it’s hard work and it seems like getting close to 100% off the system is impossible. But every 1% that you gain is a victory. I was reminded of this recently when I read the “Good Life” by Helen Scott and Nearing. As self sufficient as they were, they still needed modern technology occasionally.

But, you seem to believe that the Founding Fathers had ulterior motives in forming the Representative Republic that we have had for almost 240 years now. I disagree wholeheartedly.
If you think that it was primarily just the rich gentry who made up the founding fathers, you are correct for the most part. They were the best possible candidates to lead this country in a new direction simply because they were wealthy, had money and most importantly — were obviously extremely well educated and well read. Would the farmers, ship builders, carpenters, apprentices, blacksmiths, etc. have come up with any thing closely resembling the Declaration of Independence and ultimately the Constitution itself? Not hardly. The Founding Fathers examined the best and worst aspects of different types of self governance and put the best together in a very succinct and readable form called the Constitution. If you have taken the time to actually read it, you will find that it contains no double-speak, few technical terms and it is very easy to read and understand without the interpretation of an attorney. It is an amazing piece of work.
So, you might want to rethink your attitude on all of this, or you may not; your choice. I happen to think it is all some the most amazing literature available and it continually amazes me at how simple and straightforward it is.
Additionally, if you don’t like it here, you are FREE to move elsewhere, at least for now.

Have YOU ever read anything about The Anti-Federalists? Men such as Patrick Henry, John Calhoun George Mason and The Lees? They did NOT support the Constitution as was put forward. They feared that the Executive Branch would turn into a Monarchy, overriding the balance of powers. They feared That the Supreme Court would become its own tyyranical legislative branch. THAT is just TWO of their concerns, and I guess they were just empty concerns right? These men were the ones responsible for eventually getting The Bill of Rights through.
Oh and by the way Jack, My ancestors DID try to leave “THIS” Union in 1861 and you see how that worked out right? Self determination? States Rights? Resisting The Fed? Yeah it all died at Appomattox in 1865. So dont talk of doing anything beyond pledging your undying love for The Constitution, The Flag, Abe Lincoln and the Leviathan State that he created. Really? If you don’t approve of someone’s opinion that isn’t based on the typical school book information, you imply that they do not know what they are talking about?
There is a lot of information concerning the true beliefs of our founding fathers. The bottom line is that they weren’t the people we were taught in school and most were Masons or even “higher up” than than. Does anyone think that they were the movers and the shakers at that time because they were so wise and wonderful? While these people were no angels, it is difficult to know for sure if they set up things for the demise of the nation many years later. The jury is out on that aspect.
What is not conjecture is the history of central banks in the US. Much as been written about it and there is a lot of historical proof as to who was behind it. The motivations for the central bankers, and since Dec., 23, 1913 it has been the FED, have been more than clear.

Oh, and one last thing: no one is “FREE to move elsewhere”, everyone Must apply for permission first – and – they have to pay for it. More importantly though, it’s the statist lovers who have changed things in this country far from what it was for hundreds of years. So it would seem the statists are the ones who should consider leaving. I hear North Korea is a police state paradise a statist would love.
There are a lot of great take aways from this article. I enjoyed reading it. Get involved with your kids, not only in their schooling, but teaching them skills that they can use. Sitting in front of a TV playing video games is not a life saving skill … at least not that I am aware. Get your kids in the garden. Teach them how to grow their own food. It’s at least one skill that will last with them forever.

Some of the comments above say that these suggestions aren’t doing enough to take back liberty, but my take is this: whether the suggestions above are enough or not, THEY ARE A LOT MORE THAN WE ARE DOING NOW.
If you feel the need and ability to do more, great. But the point is–make yourself do more than what you’re doing today.
Our federal government has been replaced by an unlawful and unconstitutional corporate structure, which leaves the 50 now de facto unassociated, individual States in the position of being required to act in their autonomous conditions (with no need to declare secession!), to defend their own borders from illegal immigration and from any and all attacks, potentially to include those that probably will be made by the impostors now calling themselves the federal government. States now have the obligation to subsume all authorities previously granted to the federal government.
One of the most pragmatic pieces I’ve seen to date on this whole sordid mess. We’re in a bad way and Daisy gets that as well as anyone. She does little whining about it, though, just presents the facts and offers up some level-headed solutions. I don’t know why I haven’t stumbled across this site before. I found it tonight through an interview on the Daily Sheeple. Consider me an instant fan.

I wanted to also mention that this stuff isn’t just for economic collapse or disaster. it can also be used to ease retirement or even bring about an earlier retirement. My point is that people cant lose by doing these things as it help us in all stages of life and economy.

On the bright side? What is wrong with farming to feed your kids healthy food to ward off all the manmade diseases we have today? I find incredible enjoyment cooking, I would rather do nothing else. And the thought of the alternative? Yuck.
And about that 6th grade education, I doubt we need much more than that to wait on tables, drive a vehicle, work in fast food, etc; these are the jobs the majority of the kids have available today. See John Taylor Gatto for more info on the education system, that all of us are products of.
A simply way of life sounds extremely appealing to me, as I have found much health and enjoyment living this way. Just thinking of returning to the high stress of competing with everyone to grab more of what I do not need makes me want to puke.
Finally (well maybe not), “mindlessly” is what got us in this mess. Mindlessly believing what we see on TV, mindlessly believing the government will take care of us, mindlessly believing the medical community is looking out for our health, mindlessly believing that we need compulsory education, etc, this IS the system. Getting all of us to mindlessly believe that we need a SYSTEM. What makes us believe changing the system is going to change what we have, why the SYSTEM of course. LOL
Honestly, the more I remove myself from the system, the more I enjoy freedom I did not know was possible, and I become more grateful everyday that I am living the life I want, not what someone else says is best for me. This is FAR from mindless.

According to the Declaration of Independence, the American government gets its power to govern we the people, from the people that it governs. As the Declaration States, “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the [{( CONSENT )}] of the governed.” This was an idea that derived from Enlightenment thinkers such as John Locke.
There Are Two ways in which Authority may be exerted over a person; By Coercion Or by Consent.
1- Coercion: Persuading someone to do something by using force or threats.
2- Consent: Permission for something to happen or Agreement to do something.
Therefore, since Consent is With Our Permission, we can withdraw Our Consent if we believe we are being oppressed, “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive… it is Right for the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government” and if the Government says that we cannot revoke Consent to be Governed, then we are not living in “The land Of The Free” meaning that we were Born Into Involuntary-Servitude/Slavery, which the Constitution Forbids, along with the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights Article 4, making America A Tyrannical Government!

Jury’ duty’ is a violation of the 13th amendment – it created indentured servitude (forced labor), which is slavery.
And yet the crooked courts and such declared that jury duty does not violate your right to NOT submit. If you do not submit, an ARMED thug (aka cop usually) will arrest you at their earliest convenience thus placing you under duress.
Where did I consent to suspending my rights for someone else’s rights?
I have NO ‘duty’ to anyone but myself and my family should I choose to.
With one possible exception – defending the country from invasion.
Rights end when they reach the end of my nose, so to speak.
While jury ‘duty’ is necessary for true justice to prevail, it is HOW they go about it that is the problem.
Another issue is mask mandates. Clear violation of the 1st, 9th, 13th, and possibly the 14th amendments.
They can violate the civil rights act and the ADA as well.
Drivers licenses are also a clear violation IF you are not doing anything commercially.
We have the right to travel unhindered.
Limiting that right to walking or paying for a taxi forces me into a situation where my right to travel unhindered become hindered or I am forced into a commercial contract (taxi, bus, plane, etc) which is tantamount to taxation without representation.
Of course you must be capable of traveling (eg decent vision and the like).
Courts rule to maintain or expand government power, rarely if ever maintaining or expanding personal liberties over governmental power.
No victim, no crime.
You cannot make yourself your own victim and a victim must prove tangible measurable calculatable losses (mental claims are not tangible).

Just wish I had a rock solid means to force the government to abide by MY wishes instead of their zeal for power.
