Every flu season, many medical personnel, hospital staff, and educators are faced with a choice: get the flu shot or get fired.
Most folks cave to the pressure, because in an economy like the current one, you can’t really afford to lose your job. Finally, a nurse from Hackettstown Regional Medical Center in New Jersey has won a lawsuit after being terminated for refusing the toxic injection.
A Warren County nurse was unfairly denied unemployment benefits after she was fired for refusing a flu shot without claiming a religious or medical exemption, a New Jersey appeals court ruled today.
The three-judge panel wrote that the hospital’s policy of allowing religious or medical exemptions to the flu shot requirement “unconstitutionally discriminated against” plaintiff June Valent by rejecting her refusal to be vaccinated for secular reasons.
Valent was working as a nurse at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, then Hackettstown Community Hospital, in 2010 when the hospital’s parent company began requiring employees to take the flu vaccine unless they had medical or religious reasons not to. Employees claiming an exemption were required to sign a form and provide documentation. Anyone refusing the vaccine was required to wear a mask while at work.
Valent declined the vaccine but didn’t state a medical or religious reason, and agreed to wear a mask. She was terminated based on her refusal of the vaccine and disqualified for unemployment benefits by a Department of Labor board of review after several hearings and appeals from both sides.
The board concluded that the hospital demonstrated Valent had engaged in work-related misconduct by refusing the flu shot, according to Thursday’s ruling.
The appellate judges concluded that the hospital violated Valent’s right to freedom of expression by endorsing the religious-based exemption while denying her secular choice.
“By denying appellant’s application to receive unemployment benefits based only on her unwillingness to submit to the employer’s religion-based policy, the Board violated appellant’s rights under the First Amendment,” the panel wrote. (source)
Hospitals and other healthcare facilities have been adamant regarding mandatory flu vaccines, even going so far as to fire a pregnant woman who refused the shot. Hopefully this victory will be a step towards protecting others who refuse these mandatory invasions in the future.

There’s also the revolving door policy between Washington and big pharma resulting in a plethera of ommisions and deceptions about vaccines. They will not tell us the truth when their profits are at stake.
The MSM put the story out about her getting fired for not taking the flu shot to scare millions of others, but the MSM never did this follow up story that she won her case.

But back to the subject: it’s amazing how un-critically thinking are typically those in the health care “industry”. These people accept nearly everything spewing from the compromised and corrupt medical hierarchy throughout Big-Pharm and the government (FDA, CDC) as gospel. Vaccines often contain thimerosol, squalene, aspartame, foreign DNA, and other toxins but those in the disease management business rarely will step back for even a moment to pose questions. And that is because they have been thoroughly indoctrinated within a system that does NOT promote health and wellness.

I work in the health-care industry, and I have no problem with being required to get a flu shot. We have people coming in who are diagnosed with the flu. I sure don’t want to get it, and I certainly don’t want to bring it home to my family. So, we all get vaccinations.
To each her own, I suppose, but when a health-care worker gets the flu herself and keeps working, she’s exposing other people to it.
History is full of stories about medical pandemics, including flu pandemics. It’s worth it to me to protect myself and my family against such calamities.

is not 100 percent effective. So why take it! One can still take this shot and continue to catch the flu! STOP BEING IGNORANT!
I disagree with you …as a patient in a hospital I do not want a nurse or any other person looking after me or my family that has just had a flu shot…I do not want to catch flu from them or have my immune system having to work really hard when I am obviously already ill! The flu shot does not guarantee you will not get flu and neither does it give you any long term immunity. The flu shot contains many many very questionable ingredients and poisons that could and do damage to a large number of people. Most people who get the flu shot have flu a few days after!! so what is the point!
My wife(who refuses to get shot full of foreign substances), works in a hospital and she says all the people that get the flu shot are the ones who get the flu. The smart ones who refuse the shot are usually okay. And didn’t they claim this year’s flu vaccine probably wouldn’t be effective or only for some people…maybe! Unless they can guarantee that no negative reactions will happen because of the vaccine, then I too will err on the side of caution.
Vaccines are not the panacea everything thinks they are. This nurse was wise to skip the shot. Anyone should skip receiving a ‘medicine’ that they cannot sue for when it causes them harm or injury.

Abstract
Aluminum is an experimentally demonstrated neurotoxin and the most commonly used vaccine adjuvant. Despite almost 90 years of widespread use of aluminum adjuvants, medical science’s understanding about their mechanisms of action is still remarkably poor. There is also a concerning scarcity of data on toxicology and pharmacokinetics of these compounds. In spite of this, the notion that aluminum in vaccines is safe appears to be widely accepted. Experimental research, however, clearly shows that aluminum adjuvants have a potential to induce serious immunological disorders in humans. In particular, aluminum in adjuvant form carries a risk for autoimmunity, long-term brain inflammation and associated neurological complications and may thus have profound and widespread adverse health consequences. In our opinion, the possibility that vaccine benefits may have been overrated and the risk of potential adverse effects underestimated, has not been rigorously evaluated in the medical and scientific community. We hope that the present paper will provide a framework for a much needed and long overdue assessment of this highly contentious medical issue.

What a DISGRACE! Who the hell do these crazy people running things think they are to FORCE a nurse to get a flu shot? Unreal. Just the height of idiocy. OUR body. OUR choice to have a toxic injection. The same idiots who demand we all get vaccinated are the same people who demand we have “choice” when deciding on getting an abortion…Just stupid people who should be immediately fired for being so incredibly dumb. I was suspended for not submitting my flu shot in time. This how my hospital employer mean business about mandatory flu shot,I thought I migrated to a democratic nation. But a country that subject their citizen to genetically altered products and toxic Immunization. God help us!
It doesn’t seem right that Big Pharma is exempt from lawsuits for vaccination injuries, but the government can still force you to get them. Is the Medical clinic or Doctor then libel? Someone should be responsible or you shouldn’t have to get them. Vaccinations are not mandatory in Canada. Only 3 provinces have some regulations.
talking about human right! yes, i too was fired from my health care facility because i refused to take the 62 % of the effective flu shot! not to mention, i have close family friends who took the toxic shot and had to ran to the emergency room for severe allergic reaction. i do hope and pray that mandatory flu shot will not cause another head of household their job.
Research Antigenic Sin…. Kind of goes like this…. You inject a small concentration of the strain(s) (usually 3-4 per year/flu shot) and this will help your body recognize and thus fight off the flu.. MFR’s use this theory to support it’s use.. What they don’t tell you… Year after year you inject 3-4 new strains of flu into your body….So, after 10 years you have 30-40 strains your body can recognize. That sounds so awesome! You get exposed to a new strain and your immune system will do a check against every one of those previously injected strains, doesn’t find the new one….. and guess what? It has taken your body that much longer to recognize and thus recover from this new strain you’ve been exposed to. So, if you get the flu shot once, you MIGHT reap some benefit (but pick the right year), but every year thereafter you get a flu shot, you are making it harder for your body to protect itself and this is why it seems every year the flu is getting worse… and it is…for those that get the flu shot.
I am certainly not advocating that no one get the flu shot, but where we are at now is out of control.
Efficacy: Hovers around 50-60% based on MFR studies. They come to this figure by concluding that if someone received the flu shot and didn’t get the flu, it must have been because of the flu shot… What the MFR studies don’t tell you is that they cannot control for: someone not ever being exposed to the flu, someone practicing flu prevention measures or someone having a particularly strong immune system, etc. That is going to knock down efficacy a lot, maybe even down in the 20-30% range.
There are also studies that contradict this dire need to vaccinate the elderly and small children.. The studies find no link in improving outcomes, in fact they find they something very different:

hi, if anyone is still visiting this site, I am looking for others who lost their hearing after receiving flu and / or pneumonia vaccine. The day after receiving both a good many years ago, i got up the next morning to total hearing loss and then became violently ill. After a few days the hearing in one ear returned and one recovered only slightly. It has affected my life greatly in work and social environment.
