There was a wide variety of topics in this year’s winners, with no clear trend like we’ve seen in other years. Only two topics captured more than a single place on the top ten list.

There’s a horrible humanitarian crisis afoot in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, places that aren’t generally greatly affected by hurricanes. And the federal government, again, was late to the game. The event in WNC was unprecedented – a once-in-a-thousand-year storm. We still have no idea of the death toll – current estimates are quite low from what is expected. People were caught in landslides, floods, their homes and cars washed away, and they’ve been stranded for more than a week.
This article was written a week after the disaster, and since then, things have not improved much.

I know that I’m certainly happy to see the past year in my rearview mirror, and I look forward to what 2025 brings with a new administration that seems determined to make real changes.

What a wild year it has been. What a mess our current government has been. Calling it past tense may be premature, but I’m so ready to move on.
I’m looking forward to a new year and new things with a new way of doing things. Yes I’d bet there will be some unintended surprises but but over all I’ll believe it will be good.
Somewhere in the midst of it all the infrastructure of this nation is aging dangerously and needs rebuilt, not just multiple local patches scattered about. Our intercontinental roads are mostly in horrible shape. The shortfall in meeting the needs of Western North Carolina has exposed the poor shape we are in as a nation. We’ve been giving away too much with too little return on the spending.
I’m sorry another state had to find out how truely unprepared our government is to meet the disaster needs of our people. Another broke and broken department. FEMA has been useless in meeting the promises made to NM after “controlled burns” done on high wind days burned Huge areas again and again. Only a few have ever received what was promised and that will never rebuild or replace what was destroyed.
I keep contact in WNC to know what is happening. People are showing the heroism in their hearts in the middle of this horror. FEMA makes big promises but delivers little with big spending. Someone gets rich but it isn’t “us”.
Supporting wars is expensive and “in country” only enriches the owners of industries of war production. What does American get for that spending? Nothing but requests for more! No respect. No peace. No prestige. No benefits! And a dependence on America that is unbalanced. Our money has been given out like penny candy at a parade. Only one float is buying the candy for the rest of the floats and marching bands. Everybody wants some but no one is paying a fair share. So when the fire truck in the parade is needed for its emergency services; there is no money for fuel or a crew. It’s all show.
Thank God for organizations and individuals who step in to operate the volunteer fire department and meet the needs of their neighbors.
Amen. This is the truth. I have a feeling the nwo and the puppets in office have something else planned for the American people. I just saw California declared bird flu plandemic. All we can do is pray and prepare. Blessings on you all for this new years eve and coming year.
It was an unbelievable year of unexpected events. Unfortunately, I think that it is going to pale in comparison to 2025. From what I see many of these events will be reaching their crescendo in the coming year. The election of Trump gives many people, including me, hope that things may change, but my logical side tells me that we are too far down the toilet both nationally and internationally for one man with a four year term to turn it around.
Generally, I’m optimistic for 2025 for many personal reasons. But I know that can turn on a dime. My rallying cry is Pray, Pray, Pray, Prep, Prep, Prep. But fear not.
The Threats of Violence Against Trump Voters SURGE problem will continue in to 2025 as the globalist controlled msm continue their attempts to sow division and hate in this country. DEI is dying but hold outs like Disney keep pushing this racist divisive policy.
The massive drone sightings that started in November in my opinion are home grown and a part of a false flag operation to assassinate Donald Trump. See my comments in Fabian’s “Drones, Radioactive Material, and a Real SHTF Story” article. So prep like crazy for what will follow.
There is a good chance that the patriot movement led by Donald Trump will still triumph and the globalist empire collapses like the Soviet Union did. So keep up the good fight and do not lose heart.
