The mainstream media coverage of the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into potential criminal dealings of President Biden’s family is – I hope you’re sitting down – ridiculously biased.
It should come as no surprise, since this is the same mainstream media that willfully interfered with the 2020 election by suppressing the story about Hunter’s laptop, scoffing at it as “disinformation.” Of course, we know now beyond a doubt that the laptop story, along with many others over the past few years, were not just crazy conspiracy theories but were, in fact, true.
I won’t go too deeply into the weeds on the investigation, as it’s still ongoing, and I’d like to see all the facts before we present them. This article is about the media. It’s about how they paint a picture for the general public to try and create their own version of “the truth.” It’s about the official narrative, the one that will go down in history unless other people tell a different version – the one that is based on the facts we’re learning as opposed to wishful thinking and manipulation.
First, how dare you have a different opinion?
What this article is about is the establishment downplaying inconvenient truths and gaslighting those of us who question their version of the facts. Anyone who doesn’t go along with their ridiculous bias is considered:
- Far-right
- A conspiracy theorist
- A racist or another flavor of bigot
- Extreme MAGA (whatever that means)
- A fascist
I have to say, fascists who don’t believe in the right to form one’s own opinion calling me a fascist for questioning the questionable is the one that most makes me shake my head. Just to help those folks out, here’s the actual definition of a fascist from Vocabulary.com(emphasis mine):
A fascist is a follower of a political philosophy characterized by authoritarian views and a strong central government — and no tolerance for opposing opinions.
Of course, this is yet another word that has been hijacked to use as an insult against people who actually have opposing opinions. Most of the folks I know who are now grouped into the category of “fascist” by smug, facially-pierced, visually ambiguous, angry young people are, in fact, just folks who want to be able to exercise their rights to free speech and having views that differ. We want to be able to have discussions, for crying out loud, and we want educational institutions to open real conversations, not shut them down with angry mobs of – dare I say – fascists.
Anyway, I digress. On to the story.
What’s going on?
The House Oversight Committee has launched an investigation into what appears to be shady financial dealings amongst the Biden family that date back to the current president’s time as the Vice President, when he served under President Obama.
A lot of things have come out and there’s evidence to back these claims. Just a few of the findings are, as summarized by Zero Hedge:
- The Biden family received, and tried to hide, over $10 million in payments from foreign nationals
- A previously undisclosed $1 million in Romanian-linked payments
- Ties to Romanian ‘influence peddling’
- A ‘web’ of 20 LLCs created while Joe Biden was Vice President with a ‘complicated corporate structure’
- ‘At least 15’ of the LLCs were formed after Biden became VP in 2009 – several of which were owned or co-owned by Hunter
- These LLCs accepted payments ranging from $5,000 to $3 million
- The committee wants to know what legitimate business the Biden family was in
The memo outlines efforts by the Biden family to hide, conceal and confuse sources of money – including funds from China which Joe Biden said were ‘not true.’
Rep. James Comer (R-KY) has subpoenaed documentation from the FBI that could show President Biden did, in fact, have knowledge of all this and has lied about it. However, the FBI doesn’t want to release these documents and missed the deadline. It’s important to note this does not mean the information does or doesn’t exist – it simply means that the information has not been released at this time.
The MSM hopes if they ignore it, it will go away.
If you take a look at the mainstream headlines, of course, if it’s mentioned at all, this is all a wild goose chase, a frolic into frivolity, those nasty Republicans picking on a beloved avuncular leader. My gosh, they’re going after his family. (Insert gasp. Because, you know, political enemies would never go after the families of their targets. Just ask the Trump kids.)
Interestingly, CNN’s homepage spent most of its virtual ink being outraged about Trump’s Town Hall instead of about the potential that the President of the United States made his entire family rich by selling favors to foreign countries.
To be perfectly honest, this action hasn’t received nearly enough attention by the MSM. That in itself demonstrates bias. “We believe this is a non-story.” Imagine the hyperventilating outrage that would cover every single website if this information came out about President Trump and his family.
What they have published is in full-on damage control mode.
The coverage that does exist is quite lackluster.

All of this, of course, is just another pile of evidence that if you can count on the mainstream media for one thing, it’s to obfuscate the truth in order to plant their opinions in the minds of readers. Long gone are the days when the job of a journalist was to report facts neutrally and without bias. Things had been going downhill for a long time, but it became so incredibly blatant during the Trump administration that they literally gave up any pretense of journalistic impartiality. In fact, many “thinkers” came out in defense of the lack of objectivity, which reads like a left-wing obituary for honesty in the media.

If only something will be done. I heard yesterday that the price of $10 million could go as high as 3x that amount peddled from this idiot. Those of us who have known how corrupt the Biden family is have not wavered. But my hope is that enough of the buffoons that voted for him will see the light for them to be outraged. It’s not enough that WE have. But how will they if lamestream media won’t cover it??

They can’t follow through on the investigations because the majority of them have their own “skeletons” in the closet. They only appear to care to keep as many people as possible tricked into believing and donating to the party.
I listened to the press conference yesterday and it was very refreshing to hear that the accusations are not allegations but actual facts. In fact much of this information was known before the election and they have been covering it up for a long time. Just like the Hillary information.

I prefer to use the definition of Fascism as the term was first defined by WWII fascist Italian dictator Benito Mussolini: Fascism is absolute control of the country through the marriage of govt and big business. By that definition, this country is deep in the throes of Fascism, and to declare someone a fascist is to actually acknowledge that the person is a willing part of the system. Its use by radicals as name-calling against anyone who disagrees with them is typical of the ongoing destruction of the meaning of words.
The MSM “downplays” the Biden corruption because they know the Bidens will never face justice. Between the MSM censorship and DOJ protection…Joe Bribes ‘Em is in the clear.
If you haven’t already read the book “Secret Empires” by Peter Schweizer, I would encourage you to do so…..it was published a few years ago, and has plenty of documentation (and valid references) on the Biden Crime Syndicate shenanigans – along with many other politicians……
Everyone in the Biden family involved in this corruption have committed treason, and should be treated accordingly. There are some in Congress who agree with this.
I would also urge everyone to call every member of the 118th Congress representing your state and demand they take action – not just talk about it. Also call Speaker McCarthy, Rep Jim Jordan, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, and Oversight Committee Member Rep Byron Donalds – and express the same opinion to them.
Applying pressure in large numbers makes a difference, even if you think it doesn’t.
To tell you the truth, I don’t care what they find or who is or is not reporting on the circus. I only care when I can read about the arrests being made which will never happen.
Perhaps the media can report on something useful instead.
Here in Houston we have five major television networks that have both local web sites and newscasts. I checked all five sites and not one word on the Biden finance scandal. I watched two different local news programs and not one peep.
I wrote two station managers about this issue and haven’t heard anything in return. They’re hoping that by ignoring it, this all goes away… like Hunter’s laptop.

FWIW, this might be the colloquial understanding of the term “fascist” by certain folk – perhaps people who like to label anyone they disagree with as a “fascist” (the characters from The Young Ones come to mind).
Let’s be clear – there are PLENTY of political philosophies characterised by authoritarian views and a strong central government, but that doesn’t make them “fascist”.
A stricter definition of “fascism” recognises CORPORATE CONTROL of government as the defining characteristic.
So you can have BENIGN fascism, during which the covert authoritarianism is not readily discernible, even though the corporate elite, the billionaires and TRILLIONAIRES, are calling ALL the shots.
And you can have full-retard MILITANT fascism – wherein the full military machinery of the state is INTERNATIONALLY harnessed to pursue the CORPORATE agenda.
The latter pretty much describes the current state of the entire Western world right now. The entirety of Western civilisation is a FASCIST EMPIRE dominated and controlled by a tyranny of corporations owned by a small collections of mega-wealthy families. Not real surprised about a lot of what is going on; more surprised by its intensity and apparent frenzy to accomplish the DS end goal. Have read about most of this written by the great authors of Science Fiction of years past: A.C.Clarke, I.Asimov, R.Heinlein, J.Pournelle, G.Dickson, and S.Stirling along with many others. It may have been Sci-Fi, but they explored the possibilities of what might happen in the If this, Then that, way. Prophets? no. But extremely well educated thinkers. Where does it all go from here? Pockets of survivors trying to rebuild a broken society. Think Little House on the Prairie, mixed with modern warfare. Think: What do I have, need, want and will use. Think: What do I use each day, week, month, year and how much. Think about the Amish and how they do what they do. They have the LHotP books in their libraries for education and entertainment.
