I noticed a peculiar thing yesterday morning.

My newsfeed was filled with headlines attacking Trump as being horribly racist. Major news outlets were comparing Donald Trump to Adolph Hitler and likening his rally at Madison Square Garden to Hitler’s Nazi rally held there in 1939. Some of them were simply astounding in their toxicity.

So desperate was the left to make sure everyone was well aware that they believe Trump is Hitler and that everyone was running around inside Madison Square Garden in their favorite swastika t-shirts that a group projected onto the exterior wall of the venue.

The media expressed hyperventilating outrage at the opening act of comedian Tony Hinchcliffe for making jokes about Puerto Rico, Latinos, and black people. Do I really think that was appropriate at this time and place? Maybe not. But let’s be realistic here: those were jokes made by a comedian.

Meanwhile, if you want to talk about outrageous, the entire national media was filled with serious proclamations of Nazism. They called the event-goers Nazis. They called people fascists. Racists. Misogynistic. The list of seriously delivered insults goes on and on, but let’s take to task a stand-up comedian for making some dubious jokes.

What is really the most offensive here?

It’s actually a brainwashing technique.

Here’s the thing. This is not as harmless as “sticks and stones” here. This is a last-ditch attempt to brainwash the populace by repeating the same concept over and over. It’s called the “illusory truth effect” and it is a valuable tool in the arsenals of propagandists throughout history.

Hitler, Hitler, Hitler.

Nazi, Nazi, Nazi.

Russia, Russia, Russia.

A study from the Cognitive Research Journal explains:

Repeated information is often perceived as more truthful than new information. This finding is known as the illusory truth effect, and it is typically thought to occur because repetition increases processing fluency. Because fluency and truth are frequently correlated in the real world, people learn to use processing fluency as a marker for truthfulness.

These results have been replicated and studied many times. And speaking of Nazis, who can forget the propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels’s theory?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

By blasting this comparison everywhere and using very similar wording, the mainstream media is clearly making a coordinated effort to disparage Donald Trump, and by association, every single Trump voter, as one of the worst examples of humanity in the 20th century.

There are many books about this. Here are just a few you may want to read to help innoculate yourself against this tool.

It’s important to remember this instance. Whenever, in the future, you hear the exact same words coming out of the mouths of people across numerous media outlets, it’s probably not true.

Here’s what actually happened.

The Madison Square Garden rally was the biggest political event I’ve ever seen that wasn’t a party convention. It was astoundingly large. The venue was filled to capacity and estimates say that anywhere between 75,000 to 200,000 more supporters didn’t get in. Many of them stayed and watched the event on the big screen outside. Others flocked to local bars, where they watched the event on television. Millions watched it live from their homes.

I was one of those millions watching from home. As I did a few household tasks, I had it on in the background all day.

Did I agree with every single speaker on every single point? No. But when do I ever?

Did a few things make me think, “Welp, that’s going to make headlines,” and cringe? Absolutely.

But for the love of dogs, think about Kamala Harris’s rallies where she deeply insults Trump and Trump supporters, has hot mics catching her saying inappropriate things, and commits faux pas out the wazoo. Her rallies certainly aren’t incident-free.

For the most part, what I saw was a happy group of people who love America. I saw an energy and patriotism that has been missing from our country for a very long time. I saw people from all different backgrounds – rich, poor, White, Black, Asian, and Jewish, just to name a few. I saw Israeli flags – kinda weird for a Nazi rally, yes? I saw signs that said “Jews for Trump,” “Gays for Trump,” and every other iteration you can think of. I saw a black woman sing the National Anthem. (Beautifully, by the way.)

People were coming together – many of whom were not diehard Republicans but people who want our American dream back. I saw no hate in that crowd as the cameras panned.

I saw…well, dare I say it? Joy.

The rhetoric is not only offensive. It’s inflammatory.

For a bunch of people who want to “turn the page” and “unite Americans,” they are indeed doing a heck of a job insulting anyone who thinks differently.

This kind of inflammatory rhetoric makes it a lot easier to depersonalize folks who happen to be voting for Trump. “They’re just a bunch of racist, Nazi fascists.” It makes it a lot easier to justify the attempts on Trump’s life throughout the campaign.

The Republican Party has welcomed many former Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents to join them on this campaign, and they’ve done so with open arms.

The people espousing the hateful views of every Trump supporter being a Nazi are the ones who are destroying America. How on earth do we come back from that after the election? Some things you say just cannot be unsaid. I tend to be pretty forgiving, but being called a fascist and compared to Hitler a thousand times in a day makes it pretty difficult not to hold a grudge.

At the same time, the people being spoonfed this rhetoric believe it, thanks to the repetition and the “illusory truth effect.” Do you think they are going to be able to be okay with those who voted for Trump, whether their candidate wins or loses? People all over social media yesterday were parroting the lines they’d been given, but most of those people didn’t witness a thing.

This spin has done more damage to American unity than anything I can think of in a while.

The media has tried to convince the world that at least half of the country is filled with hatred, racism, and bigotry. Half the country! How do we come back from that?

What do you think?

Did you watch the MSG rally? If so, what was your opinion of it? Do you think this was a coordinated effort to establish an illusory truth?

Let’s discuss it in the comments section.

  • One of the rules about Goebbels’s Big Lie. You are supposed to have an exiting strategy for it. It’s meant to be a short-term thing to accomplish an objective.
Our evil media wants us to have a civil war.

    • Yes, our evil media wants us to have a civil war… and we’re going to… it’s only a matter of time…
      Bless you,
      OD

  • I did not watch the event but am not at all surprised to hear the difference between the “news” headlines and what actually happened. It is so obvious what the “news” desires – a democratic win by any means necessary. What is disturbing is how many people just don’t think for themselves. I saw a video where a woman was asked why she wasn’t voting for Trump and she said “because he is a racist,” and the person asking the question said, “what specifically has he done to make you say that?” She had no answer because she didn’t KNOW what he’d done, she was just repeating what has been repeated a bazillion times. Scary really.

  • It’s mind boggling what’s going on in our country. The exact same things Republicans say about Democrats, Democrats say about Republicans. We need to stop going against each other and come together for the sake of our children and grandchildren and our Country!

  • One of the things that is being used to attack Trump for being “racist” by the media is the joke about Puerto Rico that was told by a comedian during his standup routine at Trump’s MSG rally. ONLY, IT IS NOT A JOKE. Puerto Rico really does have a garbage/landfill problem that has not been solved by the Democrats who have run the country for decades. This is an article about the problem that was written in 2021, and it has only gotten worse since then. I am sharing this so if you have people you are dealing with who bring up this joke from the rally to “prove” Trump is racist, you have a counter to their claim, which is quite sad for the people of Puerto Rico.

  • At this point it is all they have left. They cannot run on Biden policies as they were failures. The progressive policies most people reject outright. Harris and Walz dont seem to have a message other than “Trump is Hitler!”
    That is it.
Trump and his campaign address real issues Americans care about: The economy, inflation, crime, the border, possible world war.
Harris insults half of the country, insults Jews, insults Christians.
Then you have Obama telling black men they are sexist if they dont vote for Harris. I would vote for a woman . . . IF she was competent! Tulsi Gabbard, I would vote for her over Harris any day.

    • She was on the wef webpage… Who am I supposed to believe? Her or that Klaus Schwab accidentally used her image and promoted her as a new member of the young global leaders?

8 to 4 years ago she was opposing Trump on every policy from the Paris accords to his tough stance against the CCP and his policy of tariffs to introducing legislation in 2017 to ban power generation from fossil by 2035 fuels and attacking Trump on his pro pipeline/ gas and oil fracking for energy independence.

Now she’s seen the light? Please. She’s another lying politician. You and many others in this country should be wise to this bait and switch routine by now. She’s another Arlan Specter. Hotter than Arlan, I’ll grant you that, but just as untrustworthy and slimey. A viper in the nest.

      • Tulsi may have started as a globalist intern, but People change as they mature and age. I was a true blue lib in my younger days, but after enough years of pandering and gaslighting by Dems I realized that their mouse utopia was a dead end.

      • Perhaps.
But she was, past tense, a prominent Democrat. Now she is a Republican and overtly supporting Trump. She has earned the scorn of Hillary Clinton. That puts her as a A+ in my book.

  • Just when I did not think it could get any dumber, Whoopi Goldberg on national TV, The View, declared if Trump wins the election, Trump will break up interracial marriages, deport the person of color and if the husband is white, will put the white guy with someone else. And JD Vance, his wife is not white. That is how dumb things have gotten.

  • As a Christian I forgive , but I do not forget and actively take care to not let them hurt me or my family and friends again . It’s called ” shunning ” …. it works.

  • Excellent article !!! This is a perfect example of “mass hysteria” brought on by ONLY the media outlets!!! Sad commentary for what the news services are supposed to do in America.

  • Here is an excerpt of a commentary regarding the dump admiring Hitler concern that some folks seem to have.

    What’s Wrong with Admiring Hitler?
    by Jacob G. Hornberger

Needless to say, American statists, including those in the U.S. mainstream press, are up in arms over Trump’s “admiring statements about Hitler.” But the discomforting fact is that American statists, whether they realize it or not, also admire and agree with much of what Hitler stood for.

How do American statists feel about the pre-war/pre-Holocaust Hitler? Well, let’s consider some of Hitler’s positions.

    1. Hitler was a big supporter of Social Security, which is a socialist program that is near and dear to the hearts of every American statist. Why, even reform-oriented libertarians favor the continuation of this socialist program for at least one generation and possibly longer.

    2. It’s no different with Medicare and Medicaid. Hitler strongly believed in government-provided healthcare. So do American statists. For that matter, many reform-oriented libertarians favor the continuation of these socialist programs as well, calling for “health savings accounts” or something called “direct medical care” as reforms intended to fix and improve America’s long-standing healthcare crisis (that is rooted in the adoption of Medicare and Medicaid).

    3. A large permanent military establishment to provide for a “strong national defense.” These are things that Hitler favored and that American conservatives and liberals — as well as Republican-lite libertarians — favor. Hitler would have loved the Pentagon, the CIA, the NSA, and the FBI as much as American statists do.

    4. The Interstate Highway System. This was the biggest public-works project in U.S. history. American statists love it, even while they lament the environmental damage from all the cars it encouraged to be produced. It was inspired by Hitler’s autobahn system, even though that’s not widely publicized. Have you ever wondered why they don’t have commemorative statues of Hitler at the start and end of each interstate highway?

    5. Public (i.e., government) schooling. Hitler, just like American statists, loved the concept of public schooling because he understood that this socialist program was key to producing a nation of good, little, deferential, indoctrinated, patriotic citizens who could be counted on to fall for whatever racket the government promoted, such as Germany’s war on terrorism after the terrorist attack on the German Reichstag and America’s war on terrorism after the terrorist attacks on 9/11.

    6. A government-regulated and government-managed economy. Hitler, like American statists, was a firm believer in private ownership of the means of production but, at the same time, favored an economic system that subjected private business and industry under government regulation, control, and management.

    7. Paper money and a central bank. Like American statists, Hitler was a firm believer in both paper money and a central bank (e.g. the Federal Reserve). Keep in mind that President Roosevelt abandoned America’s constitutional monetary system of gold coins and silver coins as part of his New Deal program. Ironically, FDR took power here in the United States at about the same time that Hitler took power in Germany.

    8. Hitler also believed in invasions and wars of aggression, as demonstrated by his invasions of Poland and Czechoslovakia. But so do American statists. After all, let’s not forget the U.S. invasions and wars of aggression against Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria, and others.

    9. State-sponsored assassinations. Both Hitler and American statists were/are tremendous supporters of this means of eliminating people.

    10. Torture. Again, American statists are on the same page as Hitler in favoring this government policy.

    11. Indefinite detention. Hitler favored this policy, as do American statists.

    12. Trial by tribunal. Hitler favored this type of trial for accused terrorists, as do American statists. Hitler’s trial of Hans and Sophie Scholl provides a good example, one that is mirrored in the trial procedure in the Pentagon/CIA judicial system at Guantanamo Bay.

Given the strong support of Hitler’s programs among American statists and even among some reform-oriented, Republican-lite libertarians, is it really any surprise that an American presidential candidate expresses admiration for Hitler? At least Trump is being honest, at least on this point.

  • The media has a long history of deception and protecting high ranking politicians and oligarchs. The gross lies told about the Covid-19 plandemic (re: masks that didn’t work, vaccines that caused myocarditis, six foot distancing invented by a high schooler, and dysfunctional rules that shut down small businesses but left large ones alone, etc) were just the latest in a long history of media lies.

One of the earliest epidemic lies dates to 1917 when the Rockefellers used a 1911 vaccine mandate system for the US Army to sell a poorly tested meningitis vaccine to the army while in training for World War I. It began making the GIs sick immediately but that didn’t stop vaccine sales to several other countries involved in that war. The earliest news of that vaccine’s growing death count (as it mutated a few times) appeared in Spain’s newspapers (a non-combatant country). That gave the utterly corrupt Woodrow Wilson the opportunity to falsely label the affliction as the “mysterious Spanish Flu” of unknown origin. Never mind that the 50 to 100 million deaths it caused worldwide included more German soldiers than died from combat. To this day the media maintains the Spanish Flu origin lie.

There were many others. In 1914 the Rockefellers donated $4 million to the Women’s Christian Temperance Union to kick off a false morals campaign against alcohol — which led to the 1919 Prohibition Amendment. The real purpose was to destroy the dual fuel (gasoline and alcohol) capability of Henry Ford’s Model-T cars and trucks — so that the Rockefellers’ nationwide gas station empire would have no competition from alcohol capable vehicles. It took until 1933 before most of those dual fuel vehicles were worn out and no longer being made. Only then did the Rockefellers announce to the New York media that “we don’t need Prohibition any more” so by December of 1933 Prohibition at the federal level was shut down. The lie about what Prohibition was all about was continued in the mid-1950s with a popular TV show called “The Untouchables” about heroic federal agents who went to war against evil alcohol bootleggers (like Al Capone). That show never once mentioned the Rockefellers’ war to kill dual fuel competition for the benefit to their national gasoline station empire. That lie continues today in the US media.

The Rockefellers also believed that any war in Southern Asia would strengthen the value of petroleum properties they owned in that region. So FDR (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) had to spend two whole years trying to devise some way to sucker Japan into some kind of surprise attack (just as Japan has destroyed the Russian fleet at Port Arthur in 1904) to involve Japan in a war (that they couldn’t win) with the US. That’s why FDR finally moved part of the US fleet to Pearl Harbor where a US admiral warned FDR that was an indefensible location — so FDR fired him. The media even today still maintains the lie that the “surprise” attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 was not carefully scripted by FDR for the benefit of his oligarch supporters.

After WW II was over, President Harry Truman signed off on creating the CIA (something that later just before he died he said was a big mistake). The War Department was renamed to the Department of Defense and James Forrestal became its first chief executive. For reasons unclear he was later locked up on the 16th floor of Bethesda Hospital in May of 1949. A day before his scheduled release he told his brother that he didn’t expect to get out of that hospital alive. Later that night at about 2am he went out of a window from that 16th floor. The media never revealed that the alleged suicide note found in his room was written in another person’s handwriting. This was just a few years before the CIA created their assassinations how-to manual (today a 19 page freebie download from the internet) which they exercised against several foreign political opponents during the 1950s. Part of their methodology was to blame any such assassination on some innocent person (called a patsy) who then would be killed off to rule out any possibility of a court-ordered evidence search that might likely clear that patsy. That history provides additional insight into Lee Harvey Oswald’s statement before a live TV camera (after his arrest for the JFK hit) that “I’m just a patsy.” Today while there have been several private researchers who have researched that history deeply … the mainstream media still sticks to the official gospel on who shot JFK.

There are multiple later examples such as the fraudulent Gulf on Tonkin attack, the 9/11 attack, the OKC Murrah building bombing, etc, etc but you get the point. The monumental Covid-19 lies and resulting destruction are simply a continuation of officialdom’s deceptions (with media suck-up assistance) that began long before any of our lifetimes.

    • Yes. We have been lied to our whole life! They think we are so stupid but people are finally figuring things out.

  • @theaeroponictowerchannel

This the chanel I was referring to. Hardworking family helping the neighbors in every way possible.

  • I didn’t watch the rally but I have no concern that it was a “Nazi rally “. I can assure you that Israeli Jews overwhelmingly support Trump. Even the Satmar Rebbe of Kiryas Joel NY has told his followers to vote Trump and the Williamsburg NYC one is expected to do the same.

  • The rally was great! I watched most of it. It was an outpouring of love for this country. Media can just go suck eggs

  • Thank you Daisy for all you do for us! Love your book. The Widow in the Woods. I ordered 4 copies and have given them all away. I’m going to buy another one for myself.

  • I just hope that ‘we the people’ have finally wised up to the fact that everything the mainstream media tells them is a bald-faced lie.
If they don’t…. oh well… Aren’t we living in some exciting times!!!??!!
    Keep yourself safe. Vote sensibly.

  • Our media is promoting the Democrat’s lies and propaganda to the point it seems they are promoting a civil war. We are put down, lied about, and called names right along with the leaders they fear. It is so obvious at times it is maddening that any part of the public believes the lies. They could easily and correctly be called the Chicken Sh– Party this time. They have little real ammunition to fight with and nothing of substance to offer. If Harris is their best this time, they deserve to lose but are masters at promoting lies and getting them believed. That is their real strength. They are the masters of prevarication and propaganda using defamation skillfully. The only question I’d like to have answered by them is, “How do you get the media and public figures to all speak like they are reading from the same page of the script while calling themselves reporters”? They are puppets, not reporters!

  • Today is the Trump rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The leadership of the state has tried its best to block it and make sure it didn’t happen. They have stopped the use of venues and made parking impossible. Finally, the parking is on private property that is used for public parking at a golf course. In fact the owner of the property made a statement to the fact it is open to be used! You had to be parked before 7AM this morning and catching your ride on provided shuttles that started running by 5 AM, or catch a Uber to the really site. A long list of don’t bring item like metal water bottles or weapons was posted to all who had signed up for tickets. We had free tickets confirmed but decided it was going to be too long and hard a day for us. We live an hour away. Waiting in line for several hours to enter the venue was our deciding factor. The really is scheduled for noon. The Governor, the Mayor, and the Secretary of State all tried hard to make it not happen and made attendance hard on folks. I hope people remember this when it’s time to elect folks in those offices.

  • Thank you, Daisy! I have noticed that it seems like the talking heads get their word of the day and everyone repeats it incessantly. I did not know that there is actually a phrase for it.

  • “Propaganda” by Edward Bernays is out of copyright, and an eBook version can easily be found for free online. Great read!

  • Corporate media in general could use a good dose of Elon Musk style restructuring to yank the activists out of their offices and studios. Elon for FCC chairman! Shut ‘em down for violations of their licenses.
