If you’re anything like us, the local mall is the very last place you want to be on Black Friday.
We’ve gathered up all the best deals on Amazon for preppers here in one place for you. Please note that these are affiliate links, and if you make a purchase, the website will earn a small percentage. This post will be updated throughout the day as deals are added.
12-Pack of Solar Garden Lights – These are great nightlights when there’s a power outage.
Unrefined Shea Butter – The perfect base for your homemade beauty and skincare products.
French Press Coffee Maker – No power doesn’t have to mean no coffee with this bad boy.
Granite Mortar and Pestle – This large mortar and pestle has a 2-cup capacity.
3M Safety Glasses – These are useful in many different situations, including driving through an area that is on fire
Digital Medical Thermometer – More accurate and easier to read than the old-fashioned ones
Organic Castor Oil – So many uses for castor oil that do NOT include consuming it. (Note: It does not make overdue babies come if you chug a bottle of it. Ask me how I know.)
3-Pack of Lifestraws – You can never, NEVER have too many water filters. You could even throw these in Christmas stockings.
Small First Aid Kit – this just has some little bits and pieces – bandaids, medications, salves, alcohol pads, etc. But it’s a small package with a big variety and could be a useful addition to your glove box, office drawer, or daily backpack.
Kindle Paperwhite – This baby holds more than a thousand books and is the kind that I brought with me to Europe for reading materials and reference. If you’re planning to put SHTF reading material on it, be sure to find a solar charger for it.
Drone with a Wide Angle Camera – this could be pretty useful for checking the gate if you’re short on security people during an emergency.
Carhartt Clothing – This stuff is up to 25% off and it’s the clothing you see mechanics and farmers wearing when they have to work outdoors. You couldn’t beat Carhartt for winter bug-out clothes and jackets.
TackLife Jump Starters – These are perfect to keep in the trunk for the people you love. If your car battery dies, you can boost it yourself instead of having to find a stranger or wait for a loved one to get you moving again. In these days of crime and human trafficking, I consider booster packs to be a safety item.
Vitamix 5200 – I got my Vitamix when I was pregnant with my youngest daughter – so mine is 20 years old and still kicking. I’ve had to replace one small part for $6 in all that time. This baby will grind coffee beans and make nut butter without any trouble at all. It’s worth every penny.
Columbia Coats, Clothing, and Shoes – Columbia is my favorite brand of outdoor gear. I have shoes I got almost 30 years ago that I finally had to do away with before I left for Europe. I own Columbia hiking boots and a Columbia winter jacket, too. I strongly recommend this brand for long-lasting, high-quality apparel.
8-Quart Instant Pot – This Instant Pot is big enough to help you put a complete, scratch-cooked meal on the table in less than half an hour. And it’s a steal of a price right now.
Please check back throughout the day – we’ll update with more deals!
Not such a secret, but if people like the “Carhartt” jacket, they should really look into the Redhead branded “Carhartt” work coats that sell through Bass Pro. Every Black Friday they are sold at $40. I’ve had mine for two years of moderate ranch use, and the thing looks and wears like new. I didn’t need another one, but tried to grab one last Friday anyway, cause rule of 2 and all, but they were long gone by 7am.
The Walmart “Carhartt” sells for the same price, and is trash.
