  1. We’re drinking water before we drink other beverages.
  2. We’re adding a serving of fruit or veggies before each meal.
  3. We’re adding more movement to our day.
  4. We are performing 5 minutes of gentle stretches before we get out of bed in the morning.
  5. We are focusing on some rest or relaxation time on a daily basis.
  6. Replacing calorie-laden, nutritionally-barren snacks with fruits and veggies.

  • RE:What is your favorite fast and healthy meal?

So, are you saying that going thru the drive-thru and getting some burgers and fries, isn’t a fast and healthy meal? How can so many people in line in front of me be so wrong? And, it’s so dang tasty – and – Really easy. The death of us all, eh? I sometimes wish there were a song, like, Doe-Ray-Me, that I could sing to remind us how bad that stuff is and I wouldn’t come across as the bad guy for saying, hmmm, no. Anyway,

When I make a batch of chicken bone broth soup, I do it large, and I put the extras into the freezer in a Ziplock. I first pour serving sizes into a mason jar to put in the fridge to cool, then I pour it into a Ziplock and make it lay flat so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in the freezer. … Next stop -> learning to pressure cook this stuff. The downside is, I imagine my secret recipe for chicken bone broth soup isn’t the same as what’s permitted by the pressure cooking cookbooks.
I tried buying an electric burner to do my pressure canning on, it was D.O.A.. So, I thought, after reading so many bad reviews online about them and how they all mostly had bad shelf lives, maybe getting a propane burner like a Camp Chief, would be a better option. I will find out how well that choice was.

P.s. I bought your canning book today. I hope it covers using Tattler rings, as I’ve never used them before, and am kind of apprehensive about it.

P.p.s. my wife is so jealous of you, it ain’t even funny. I can’t count the number of times… Daisy Luther this, Daisy Luther that, My girlfriend… Blah blah blah. I bet that happens alot.
